We proudly announce that Dome Co. Ltd. and Parametric Technology Corporation (Headquartered in Waltham Mass, U.S.A. Hereinafter referred as PTC) have agreed on the technical partnership.
PTC is a software vender, which marks the world top share in the area of CAD/CAM and collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions, and their flexible engineering solution Pro/Engineer series which have great potential in developing racing cars. Dome has been paying attention to advantages and superiorities of this automatic designing tool for some time, and recently we both agreed on a worldwide technical partnership contract since their business goals met with our objectives.
Dome will make the best use of the software systems available at PTC for the development of racecars such as Le Mans prototype sports cars and the Honda NSX-N-GT and also for our 50%-scale wind tunnel facility and other principle R & D tasks. We expect results using these applications will take shape one by one in the near future by showing not only higher performance and higher quality, but also a higher degree of sense in our designs.
