Oct.17.2000 Development of New LMP

Development of the "Dome S101"

Dome Co. Ltd. is under development of the "Dome S101", a racecar to be sold in the market for race categories such as Le Mans LMP900 and the FIA Sports Car Championship.
The planned shakedown date is February 2001, and we plan to produce around 2 to 4 cars for sale. We are currently using the JUDD GV4 engine as a base for the design, but we can make modifications to incorporate other engine designs according to the wishes of the client. We are currently under business negotiations with teams that have plans to participate in Le Mans next year.
As the car is built according to known technical regulations, there is nothing much to write here about the specifications, but we have applied a lot of know-how, which we have gained from long-term development of formula cars. We are also confident of our ability to fine tune the aerodynamics to increase the performance of the cars, so we hope these cars will be able to give the others a run for their money in the races next year.

Two types of aerodynamic packages are available: low drag for Le Mans and high down force.
Ideal and efficient aerodynamics, due to cooling capacity control.
850 kg complete car weight with 50 kg ballast provides optimal weight balance and low center of gravity.
Rear section can be replaced within 5 minutes in case of unexpected trouble.
Cockpit with head support to ensure safety.
High air intake pressure enables use with any normal aspiration engine.
All V8 and V10 engines can be installed. Turbo charged engines can be installed under special order.
Development of an LMP 675 is also under consideration.
