Jun.21.2002　F3 Chassis Development with LOLA CARS




DOME CO.,LTD. and LOLA CARS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED have signed an agreement to develop an F3 chassis to be sold for the next season. There had been talks going on between both companies about cooperation regarding development, production and distribution of racing cars. By cooperating both companies feel that they gain a strong position in the market regarding performance, pricing and services. This in turn lead to the signing of the contract.

The car will be finished around November and it will be designed to meet the needs of all major engine users. There will be no special grade works cars, so all users can expect to receive the same quality chassis.
It is a tough market which is almost totally owned by Dallara, but as the chassis' potential becomes known we hope it will make things interesting. The chassis is yet to be named, due to differing naming schemes between both companies, but we hope to decide on one before the shakedown.

Until we start selling them in numbers all sales in Japan will be direct from Dome.
