■Over 30 Cars Delivered for Formula Regional Japan
Within the FIA’s racing hierarchy with Formula 1 at the peak, Formula 3 was divided into two stages: FIA-F3 and FIA-FR. To establish a new category as a regional one-make championship, the Formula Regional category was introduced. In Japan, the Formula Regional Japanese Championship (FRJ) was launched in 2020, for which DOME supplies an original chassis, the DOME F111/3 . To date, we have delivered more than 30 complete cars.
■Modern Safety and Performance Regulations
FIA Formula Regional is a race category newly introduced by the FIA in 2014, reorganizing the standards for single-seater cars leading to Formula 1, while incorporating the latest safety regulations. In Japan, it was launched in 2020 as the “Formula Regional Japanese Championship.” These cars are built in accordance with the FIA’s latest standards, featuring impact-absorbing structures and the HALO cockpit protection device. Positioned above FIA-F4, this category adopts a new classification system based on power-to-weight ratios. Furthermore, both vehicle prices and running costs are managed under the FIA’s globally standardized pricing system, ensuring they remain affordable.
